Great place I come for the chilaquiles rojos Birria is I dont usually leave 5 star

Me and my family have visited this place often. We love their quesabirria tacos. They are full of meat and flavor with a consomé on the side. They have many options of delicious food on the menu. A good reason to come back and try something new all the time. They have great customer service and very friendly family owned restaurant. If you are thinking of some great Mexican food, this is the spot. They also served hand made tortillas on weekends with delicious menudo and pozole. We have found a great place in the center of the high desert.

My family and I LOVE MHD, the food is delicious and authentic, the family who owns it is so nice and go out of their way to ensure quality every time! The menudo is always spot on and kids love quesa-birria tacos. Overall, it’s our Sunday morning breakfast ritual!

Been by this place a million times, but never stopped in. Today as I did a Google search for restaurants in the area, I can't upon their reviews, and they all had good things to say. So I finally stopped by to see for myself, and I'm super glad I did. They have a pretty big menu, so I took my time. I ended up ordering the quesabirria combo plate, and it was DELICIOUS! I've had birria burritos, tacos, quesabirrias, and just plain birria from other local restaurants, and I can say with no hesitation, this was the best one hands down! From the taco shells to the consomé, to the meat itself! Everything was on point! The service was also top notch. And the dining room, although not huge, it's very well put together and inviting. I will definitely be visiting here again soon. Next time I'm gonna try their Chile Verde Plate.

First time here and I’m not disappointed! Always looking for new spots up in the high desert to try and this is the place you have to come out too. Food was on point flavorful hot which I like customer Service was amazing, friendly will sure be back with my whole family. They also have birria pizza never tried but that next time I come

This is our second time coming here and it is safe to say it is one of the best Mexican foods we have tried. Everything is delicious along with having touches of Durango so happy we found this location. Muchas gracias por su servicio amigable y su execelente comida.

Moved out here a few months ago from LA and the high desert was disappointing my family and on the quality of food and flavors. No one out here has flavor...Untill we came across this Little gem on Yelp and was like ok let's give it a try.And I am so damn glad we did! From the moment you walk in, to the time you leave it is straight across 5 stars if I can give them 10 I would the atmosphere is very Casita Vibes very welcoming, the owners and servers beautiful gente The food was Delicious! Came for lunch. Husband had the Chili Verde Burrito and I had Chicken Tacos with Beans & Rice. Chips and Salsa also. Food was delicious, service was good too. Place was busy when we arrived with several tables finishing up at the same time. With the place as small as it was the floor could have used a sweep when all those tables cleared out. I gave 5 ’s on everything and 4 for atmosphere due to the floor needed tending to and when the place cleared they tended to the tables but not the floor. Someone posted they “self tipped” on his purchase and I didn’t see that on my receipt. But there was a posted sign stating a .75 cent charge if you use a credit or debit card.
